Paul Almond
Paul Almond OC ( born April 26, 1931 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian screenwriter, film director and film producer.
Since 1955, Almond worked for television; until 1968 he directed his first feature film. For his film The Act of the Heart he was awarded the Canadian Film Award for Best Director. From 1967 to 1973 he was married to Geneviève Bujold, with whom he has a son.
