Paul Calle

Paul Calle ( born March 3, 1928 in Manhattan, † December 30, 2010 in Stamford (Connecticut) ) was an American artist.

He earned a bachelor's degree from the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and during the Korean War, he worked as an illustrator for the U.S. Army.

He gained a stamp artists, notably by he designed postage stamp on the occasion of the first moon landing for the U.S. Postal Larger notoriety. Overall, he has designed more than 40 U.S. postage stamps.
