Paul Dupuy

Paul Dupuy ( born January 18, 1856 in Loudun, † March 17, 1948 in Geneva) was a French geographer and historian.

Paul Dupuy was a professor of geography at the Ecole Internationale de Genève and lecturer in history at the École normale supérieure. From 1895 to 1935 he was secretary general of the École normale supérieure. He published in 1896 the first comprehensive biography of the mathematician Evariste Galois: La vie d' Évariste Galois.
