Paul Graebner

Karl Otto Robert Peter Paul Graebner ( born June 29, 1871 in Aplerbeck; † February 6, 1933 in Berlin) was a German botanist. Its official botanical author abbreviation is " Graebn. ".

Life

After school he studied and received a doctorate in phil. In the 1890s he botanized among other Jerichower country and Vorharzgebiet together with Paul Friedrich August Ascherson, with whom he also published his seminal work on the Central European flora.

Later he became a professor at the Botanic Garden and Botanical Museum Berlin- Dahlem and addressed in his research, in particular with the plant geography of central Germany.
