Paul Ifill

Paul Ifill ( born October 20, 1979 in Brighton ) is a Barbadian football player.

Club career

As Ifill in 1995 had been discarded in the youth department of FC Watford, he returned to Brighton and played at Saltdean United, an amateur club where his father was active.

In 1998 he was hired by FC Millwall. Shortly after signing the contract he was injured and coach Billy Bonds set him a short period of time to prove himself after recovery. This was Ifill by the next game he scored four goals.

Shortly thereafter caused a back injury that he could not run fast. Several specialists were not able to identify the cause and so threatened the career end. After three months, then discovered but a doctor that a bone pressing on a nerve and the day after treatment Ifill was ready for use again.

In summer 2005, he moved to over 250 games for Milwall for £ 800,000 to Sheffield United. In 2006 he succeeded to the club promotion to the Premier League.

During the winter break of the season 2006/ 07 Ifill moved to Crystal Palace. In July 2009, he joined the New Zealand club Wellington Phoenix.

International career

Ifill made ​​his debut in 2004 in qualifying for the 2006 World Cup for Barbados in the game against St. Kitts and Nevis.
