Paul Jorion

Paul Jorion ( born July 22, 1946 in Ixelles, Belgium ) is a social scientist at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and business columnist for Le Monde and BFM radio.

He is also one of the economists who had predicted an American subprime crisis and subsequent global recession. By this circumstance he gained moderate fame in Germany. In his blog, he comments on current affairs and especially the (financial) economic issues concerned.
