Paul McKenna

Paul McKenna ( born November 8, 1963 in Enfield, Middlesex, England ) is an English hypnotist and author. It also occurs frequently on British television.

Since the mid- 2000s McKenna mainly deals with it, " self-help " products, mainly to develop books and TV formats. He uses techniques of hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP ).

Career

It started as a DJ Paul McKenna of various English radio stations. The mid-80s he was heard for the first time on the radio station " Chiltern Radio ," where he quickly became known for his humor and his original personality. He then moved to the London radio station " Radio Capital ".

During a radio interview with a hypnotist Paul McKenna sparked in interest in hypnosis, which he began to study shortly thereafter. Although he mainly worked as a DJ, he started alongside it, perform small hypnosis shows. At first he led these shows only in the circle of his friends, and later in clubs and bars. With these performances, he eventually also promoted on the radio, which he also appeared in major theaters in England, Ireland and the United States after a short time. His main aim was to entertain the audience, but more and more people started to book him for hypnotherapy individual sessions.

In early 1990 he left Capital Radio and switched to the radio station BBC Radio One. Soon, however, he also announced there to now focus solely on his career as a hypnotist. 1993 ITV Paul McKenna published first TV series called The Hypnotic World of Paul McKenna. In this entertainment show mesmerized Paul McKenna voluntary spectator of his mission. Later, the show was repeated on the British television channel Bravo.

During this time, Paul expanded his knowledge of hypnosis, where he also acquired knowledge of the Neuro -Linguistic Programming (NLP).
