Paul Nicholls (actor)

Paul Nicholls ( born April 12, 1979 in Bolton, England; native Gerald Paul Greenhalgh ) is a British actor.

Life and achievements

Nicholls is the son of a roofer and a nurse who appeared in several TV shows before retraining. As a ten year old child he took part in the Oldham Theatre Workshop. He made his debut in 1994 in the television series Earth have been. In the years 1996 to 1997 he played in the television series EastEnders. For this role he was nominated in 1996 and 1997 for the British National Television Award.

In the film drama Goodbye Charlie Bright ( 2001) Nicholls took over the lead role of Charlie Bright. In the drama If Only (2004) he played the role of Ian Wyndham, the same day with his deceased girlfriend Samantha Andrews (Jennifer Love Hewitt ) spends because he got a second chance to show her how much he loves her before they will eventually die again. He also starred in several plays, including at London's Bush Theatre and the Royal National Theatre.
