Paul Oudin

Paul Marie Oudin (* 1851 in Epinal, † 1923 same place ) was a French physician and radiologist.

Along with Jacques- Arsène d' Arsonval (1851-1940) he developed about 1899 for medicinal purposes ( electrotherapy ) the Oudinspule, a variant of the Tesla coil. In 1906 he took with F. Verchère radiation therapy for the treatment of uterine cancer. With Antoine Louis Gustave Béclère he worked in the diagnosis of pulmonary tuberculosis.
