Paul Peel

Paul Peel ( born November 7, 1860 in London ( Ontario); † October 3, 1892 in Paris) was a Canadian painter.

His work is committed to the academic art.

He won a bronze medal in 1890 at the Salon de Paris with the work after the bath and was therefore one of the first Canadian artist who gained international fame during his lifetime. He died as 32- year-old from a lung disease.
