Paul Tingley

Paul Tingley ( born June 1, 1970) is a Canadian yachtsman.

Tingley, who hails from Halifax, began at the age of ten years with the Flying Junior Sailing. Through a skiing accident he suffered at age 24, he suffered a paralysis. A year after the accident he started racing sport. He belongs to the Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron. In the summer 2008 Paralympics he won a gold medal in the one-man keelboat. As early as 2000 he had reached in Sydney with his team bronze, 2004, the sailors had also participated in the Paralympics, but only reached seventh place in Athens.
