Paula Pequeno

Paula Renata Marques Pequeno ( born January 22, 1982 in Brasília, Distrito Federal) is a Brazilian volleyball player. With the Brazilian national team in December 2009, she took first place in the world rankings.

Achievements

At the Olympic Games in Beijing in 2008 and 2012 in London, she won the gold medal with the national team. At the 2006 World Championships, she won silver. At the World Grand Prix 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008 and 2009, she won the team gold medal each.

Since 2009 she plays for Russian club VK Saretschje Odintsovo. Pequeno is mainly used as Aufsteigspielerin in attack.
