Paulina Barzycka

Paulina Barzycka ( born March 18, 1986 in Lublin ) is a Polish swimmer.

Barzycka starts for the swimming club Orlik Lublin. The Polish champion in the 100 m and 200 m freestyle swam at the Junior European Championships 2003 bronze medal with the Polish Season 4 × 100 m freestyle. At the 2003 World Championships in Barcelona, she reached the semi-final on 100m freestyle. In Athens at the 2004 Olympics she reached on August 16 about 200 m freestyle and the finale was on August 17, Fourth before Franziska van Almsick and 17 hundredths of a second behind the bronze medal. In the European Swimming Championships in Budapest in 2006, she won the silver medal in the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay as the final swimmer.

She holds 55.42 seconds the Polish record in the 100m freestyle.
