Paulo Carvalho

Paulo Carvalho ( born February 26, 1986 in Guandu ) is a Brazilian boxer. He fights in the light flyweight ( up to 48 kg).

Career

Up to the first qualifying tournament for North and South America, the Olympic Games in 2008, he joined internationally not yet in evidence. But here he was beaten just in the first battle the Argentinian Junior Zarate. Also for the second Olympic qualification tournament in America, he was nominated by Brazil. Here he met in the first fight again on Zarate, but could clear this time interspersed. Also in the quarter and semi-finals, he was able to prevail and clearly defeated in the final then the Dominican Winston Mendez. He qualified for the 2008 Olympic Games.
