Paulo Nagamura

Paulo Roberto Corradi Nagamura ( born March 2, 1983 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian football player with Japanese roots. He currently plays for Sporting Kansas City in the American football professional league Major League Soccer.

Career

Youth

In 2001, the then 18 -year-old from his youth club São Paulo FC to England Arsenal London. There he played in the youth and reserve team of the club and helped the Londoners at the U19 Championship in 2004 for his final strike against Liverpool to victory.

Change to America

In March 2004, he then moved to the American Major League Soccer Los Angeles Galaxy. There he played 54 times, but he fired it no goal. In early 2007, he worked at the newly founded club Toronto FC under contract. After four games for the Canadian club he joined on 4 May 2007 back to Los Angeles, but this time to the CD Chivas USA.

After half a year in Mexico with UANL Tigres, he returned in 2010 to CD Chivas USA back. On November 29, 2011, he was traded by the Chivas against a pick in the MLS Supplemental Draft, 2012. Since then, he plays for Sporting Kansas City.
