Paulos Tesfagiorgis
Paulos Tesfagiorgis is an Eritrean human rights activist.
Life
Paulos Tesfagiorgis studied in Canada at McGill University Law and completed his studies with a Master of Laws. He is a lecturer at the University of Asmara in Eritrea.
Paulos Tesfagiorgis founded the only one of the ruling party People's Front for Democracy and Justice ( PFDJ ) approved regional centers dream for Human Rights and Development in Eritrea. During the Revolutionary War, he was co-founder and chairman of the Eritrean Relief Association. After successfully erstrittener independence he was a member of the Commission, 1997, the new constitution adopted. In 2002 he founded with 17 other Eritreans the Citizens Initiative for the Salvation of Eritrea ( CISE ).
Currently Tesfagiorgis lives in exile in South Africa.
