Paulos Tzadua

Tzadua Paul ( born August 25, 1921 in Addifini, † 11 December 2003 in Rome) was Metropolitan of Addis Ababa and cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church.

The sacrament of Holy Orders received Tzadua on March 12, 1944. On 1 March 1973 he was appointed auxiliary bishop in Addis Ababa and was appointed titular bishop of Abila in Palestine. He was on 24 February 1977 to September 11, 1998 Diocesan Archbishop of Addis Ababa. On May 25, 1985 Pope John Paul II awarded him the dignity of Cardinal. His titular church as cardinal priest was Santissimo Nome di Maria a Via Latina.
