Pavao Posilović

Paul Posilovich OFM (c. 1597 Glamoch, † 1657 in Duvno ) was bishop of Skradin and Mostar.

Life

Paul was a member Posilovich de Franciscan Order and was on 16 June 1642 by Pope Urban VIII Bishop of Skradin ( Scardona ) appointed. The historic diocese Scardona was lifted after 1808 and first awarded in 1969 again as titular. He was consecrated on September 7, 1642 by Giovanni Battista Maria Cardinal Pallotta, cardinal priest of the titular church of San Silvestro in Capite; Co-consecrators were the Titular Archbishop of Rhodes, Alfonso Gonzaga and the Bishop of Minori, Patrizio Donati.
