Pavel Hoftych

Pavel Hoftych ( born May 9, 1967 in Ústí nad Labem ) is a former Czech football player and current football coach.

Player

Hoftych played in his youth for Český lev Neštěmice and Armaturka Ústí nad Labem. His military service, he graduated at VTJ Žatec, 1988, he moved to the first Czechoslovak League to RH Cheb, where he arrived on 21 missions in which he scored two goals. The next stop of the defensive player was the second division Mova Slušovice.

1992 Hoftych was committed by Svit Zlín, with his promotion to the first Czech league newly founded in June 1993. In Zlín he came up with another 63 top-flight, but he scored a goal. The 1995/96 season he spent in the second division with FC Pribram, then played Hoftych four years in the Austrian Regional League East for the ASKO Klingenbachstrasse. After his return to Czech Republic he was still playing for Slavia Hanácká Kroměříž and Sokol Lužkovice.

Coach

Hoftych began his coaching career as a coach in the youth department of his former club Tescoma Zlín. From 2001 to 2006 he was an assistant coach from 2001 to 2003, head coach of the B team. He had these two items in the 2006/07 season at the 1 FC Slovácka held, in November 2006, he returned as head coach back to Zlin. For the 2008/09 season Hoftych took over the team Bohemians 1905 Prague. In the summer of 2011, he was coach of the Slovakian first division club FC Spartak Trnava.
