Pavel Svoboda (organist)

Pavel Svoboda (* 1987) is a Czech organist, harpsichordist and playwright.

Life

He received a training of 1995 - 2003 at the Music School of the city Dobruška and thereafter until 2009 at the National Conservatory in Pardubice at Václav Raba ). In 2008 he took a course at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague Jaroslav Tůma and at the University of Arts in Berlin at Leo van Doeselaar. Svoboda took part in master classes with Martin Sander, Susan Landale, Reitze Smits, Kamila Klugarová and Petr Rajnoha.

In 2004 he received the International Organ Competition Opava a 1st prize and an award from the Foundation "Czech Music Fund ". 2007 got Svoboda at the International Organ Competition in Brno the 1st prize and Titul laureate. In 2008 he received the second prize at the International Organ Competition " Petr Eben ." He is organist and harpsichordist in the Ensemble Barocco semper giovane with which he has already given hundreds of concerts ( also at the Prague Spring Festival ). He takes on the radio and was the artistic director and co-organizer of various classical music festivals.
