Pavle of Serbia

Pavle Branović was the son of Bran, the brother Prvoslavs.

He ruled as a Serbian wholesale Župan about 917-921 and was initially a vassal of Bulgaria. The Byzantine favorites Zaharije Prvosavljević he handed over the Bulgarians. As Pavle Branović turned by the Bulgarians in Constantinople, he was overthrown by Tsar Simeon of Bulgaria and used instead of his Zaharije Prvosavljević.
