Paweł Olszewski

Paweł Bartosz Olszewski ( born December 11, 1979 in Bydgoszcz ) is a Polish politician, Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Life

From 1994 to 1998 Paweł Olszewski attended the first general-education school Cyprian Kamil Norwid. He then studied at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan management and marketing. His studies concluded Olszewski from 2003 with a master's. 2003 to 2004 he was export manager of a furniture factory of Schieder Möbel Holding in Bydgoszcz. He is the son of Wieslaw Cezary Olszewski, who as a member of the Sojusz Lewicy Demokratycznej ( Democratic Left Alliance ) Voivode of the Voivodship Bydgoszcz was.

Political career

2001 Paweł Olszewski joined the Civic Platform. 2002 to 2003 he was a board member of the Mlodzi Demokraci ( Young Democrats ), the youth organization of the Civic Platform, and regional chairman for the region Kujawy. 2002-2005 Olszewski was a member of the City Council of Bydgoszcz. In the 2005 parliamentary elections, he was able to win a mandate for the Sejm. In 2006 he became chairman of the Civic Platform in Bydgoszcz. and successfully defended the following year in the early general elections his parliamentary seat. Also in the 2011 elections, he could regain a seat in Parliament with 9,257 votes.
