Paweł Strąk

Paweł Strąk ( born March 24, 1983 in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski ) is a Polish footballer. He is currently engaged in Zawisza Bydgoszcz.

Life and career

Strąk began his career in 1999 at Hutnik Kraków, before he played in the youth teams of Alit Ożarów and Wisła Kraków. In 2000 he returned to Wisła, where he was champion in the first year. After only one year in Kraków, he played one season at Orlen Plock, after which he returned again back to Wisła and was able to celebrate two more championship titles, as well as a Polish Cup. In 2004 he moved to Zagłębie Lubin. After two seasons in Lubin Strąk GKS Belchatow went to, from where he moved to SV Ried to Austria. Initially in the starting eleven, the poles could not prevail in the Upper Austrians and went back after just one fall season in his native Poland. Strąk signed with Gornik Zabrze. The change took place on 1 January 2009. For Gornik, he completed 13 top-flight appearances and 31 second division games in which he scored 3 goals. In early 2012, he joined the second division Zawisza Bydgoszcz.
