Paysandú F.C.

The Paysandú Fútbol Club, short Paysandú (nicknamed Sanduceros ), is a football club from the city, in the department of Paysandú Paysandú eponymous town in western Uruguay. Currently there is no competition - participation of the Association in the ON, the Uruguayan Football Association, instead.

History

The club was founded on March 7, 2003. He came here from the merger of the clubs Barrio Obrero, Centenario, Deportivo América, Estudentil, Independiente, Juventud Unida, Olimpico and Paysandú Wanderers. From 2003 to 2005 the club was a member of the Segunda División. Right in the first season of 2003, coached by Carlos Cabillón team qualified as winners of Group B for the finals for the title of the Torneo Apertura 2003, the Second Division, but eventually lost in the playoff final against the Rocha Fútbol Club on 27 September 2003 ( the first leg we had won 2-0 ) with 1:4. Curiosities
