Pedro Abarca

Pedro Abarca (* July 16, 1619 in Jaca ( Huesca Province, Aragon ); † August 23, 1697 in Salamanca) was a Spanish theologian and historian.

Born in Aragon in 1619 Pedro Abarca 1641 Jesuit and taught theology for 25 years at the University of Salamanca. He wrote several theological works in Latin, as a Tractatus de teologici Scientia Dei, also De Concordia, De Incarnatione, De Perfectionibus Christ among others He also emerged as the author of historical writings, especially in his work written in Spanish Los Reyes de Aragón en anal históricos ( 2 vols, 1682 Madrid and Salamanca, 1684), which deals with the history of Aragon.
