Pedro Celestino Silva Soares

Pedro Celestino Silva Soares ( born January 2, 1987 in Tarrafal ), called Celestino, is a Cape Verde footballer. The midfielder has since the summer of 2013 in SC Olhanense under contract.

Career

Celestino came in 2003 at the age of 16 years to Portugal in the youth of Sporting Lisbon. There, he was not able to get into the squad for the first team. In 2006 he left Sporting and joined CD Olivais e Moscavide on, that was just gained in the second Portuguese league, the Liga de Honra. After relegation in 2007 he moved to league rivals GD Estoril Praia, already half a year later first division side Estrela Amadora took him under contract. There he became the master power. After the club the license had been revoked in 2009, he joined Belenenses Lisbon, with whom he was relegated at the end of the season 2009/10.

After the revival had been missed, Celestino left Portugal in summer 2011 and joined the Romanian first division side CFR Cluj. There he came in the 2011/12 season, although rarely used, won with the team at the end of the season but the Romanian championship.
