Pedro Teixeira

Pedro Teixeira ( also Pedro Texeira; * 1585 Cantanhede, Portugal, † in Belém, Brazil 1641) was a native of Marranenfamilie a world traveler, an important American researchers, geographer and explorer, and author.

Among other things, he explored the first European to see the Amazon and the surrounding land along its entire length it ( far more than 6000 km).
