Pedro Zaraza Municipality

The municipality of Pedro Zaraza is one of the 15 municipios of the State of Guárico in central Venezuela. The municipality consists of two parroquias, the administrative headquarters Zaraza and San José de Unare. The district is located in Nordsten the state. He was named after Pedro Zaraza, a military from the Venezuelan War of Independence.

Demography

In the 2011 census, 8.3% of the population of the state live in the municipality of Pedro Zaraz; 2001, the proportion had amounted to 8.6%.
