Pelikan Åowicz
Pelican Łowicz is a Polish football club from Łowicz.
History
The Club Pelican Łowicz was founded in 1945. After mergers with other associations and renaming was founded in 1956 finally the KS Pelikan Łowicz. For decades, the club played in the lower leagues (usually the fourth and fifth ) before In 1991, the rise in the third league. After a few years in the middle of the league, the Green-Whites occupied in the 2005/2006 season in second place, but subject in the playoffs against Podbeskidzie Bielsko- Biała ( 1-1 at home, 2:5 away ). A year later, the second place was again reached, but this time the players from Łowicz 2-0 (Home) and 2:3 ( Away) were able to prevail against Kmita Zabierzów.
In the current season the team will play in the 2nd Polish League.
