Penguin Random House

Penguin Random House is the largest trade book publisher in the world. It was established on 1 July 2013 from the merger of Penguin Books ( media group Pearson ) and Random House ( Bertelsmann group ), with 53% of Bertelsmann and Pearson holds 47 % stake. The independent German division of Random House, however, remains completely at Bertelsmann. CEO is Markus Dohle.
