Pengwern

Pengwern is the name of Britannic royal residence of post-Roman period in the Welsh Principality of Powys. The place was on the Wales-England border area in the English county of Shropshire (Welsh Gwyrchwynau ), which was part of Powys earlier. Pengwern, the legends known as the seat of the kings of Powys before this Mathrafal was further to the west. The precise location and the date of the founding of Pengwern have not yet succeeded.

History and Mythology
