People's Convention Party

The People's Convention Party (PCP ) from 1993 to 1996, a political party in Ghana.

Party chairman was P. K. Donkoh - Ayifi. The PCP was a merger of the National Independence Party (Ghana) (NIP ) and the People's Heritage Party (PHP) from the year 1993.

Resolution

The PCP united on January 29, 1996 with the National Convention Party to the Convention People's Party, which has since participated in elections for the presidency and in the parliamentary elections. First called to convention party, the Convention People's Party present name was adopted in 2000.
