People's National Assembly

The National People's Assembly ( ar.: al- Majlis al - Watani Al- Sha'abi; French Assemblée Populaire Nationale) is the lower house in the bicameral legislature of Algeria.

The National Assembly consists of 462 deputies who are elected for five years each.

The last parliamentary elections were held on 10 May 2012.

The Party National Liberation Front FLN was strongest ruling party.
