People's National Party
The People's National Party ( PNP) is a party founded in Jamaica in 1938, combines the elements of social democracy with those of socialism. In the 1970s, the PNP stood for a policy that was comparable in Cuba with Fidel Castro.
The main challenger to the left PNP People's Party is the liberal Jamaica Labour Party ( JLP ).
