Per Brogeland

Per Brogeland ( born January 7, 1953) is a former Norwegian football player and current football coach.

Career

Player

Per Brogeland began his career at Eidsvold Turn. Here brought 1971-1984 to 251 games and 48 goals. His career was interrupted at Eidsvold Turn only by a one-year stint with Lillestrøm SK, where he rose to nine games with four goals. Internationally he had on May 22, 1974 his only use in an U21 International Match, which was lost 1-0 against the GDR.

Coach

His coaching career began by Brogeland in his parent club Eidsvold Turn as assistant coach. After his stint at Eidsvold Turn he coached from 1990 to 1991 along with Even Pellerud the women's national team of Norway rather 1992, the coach took office in Kongsvinger IL. A year later he received the Kniksenprisen as the best coach in Norway. In 1996 he moved to Lillestrøm SK, where he works in a team of trainers. However, he wanted to be alone responsible after a short time coach, so he moved to LASK Linz Austria. He works very successful in Austria and was responsible for the introduction of the back four in the Bundesliga Austria. Quite surprisingly, he was released after a 5-0 victory over SK Rapid Wien and the third place in the championship table by President Wolfgang Rieger on 3 April 1998. The end of his work as a trainer in Austria He returned to Norway, where he again took over as coach at Kongsvinger IL. As early as 1999 he left this club again. In 2001 he finally took over Hønefoss BK. After several games without a win and a historic defeat for the club 0:6 he had to leave the coaching chair. Between 2002 and 2005 he was responsible for the U21 women's national team of Norway. After that, he was at FC Lyn Oslo a job as an assistant coach; which, however, he also took over the duties of a talent scout. On 1 January 2009 he took over as coach in his parent club Eidsvold Turn ..
