Success at any cost is an American film of 1997 by Douglas Barr. It is a sports drama about a gymnast who want to make it to the top.

Action

Andie Bradley (Amy Jo Johnson ) is a gymnast who had always wanted to participate in the Olympic Games. When she offered to train with one of the best coaches in the U.S., she accepted with enthusiasm. To this end, they must of Portland (Oregon ) to Seattle (Washington) move (away from her boyfriend and her best friend ).

When they trained for the first time with the others, she is made aware of their coach on their weight, so that it starts with diet. Soon they will, however, after examining the anorexic Olympic champion Leslie Reynolds met, even anorexic and suffers from bulimia. Her mother sees them lose more and more weight but they can not stop. Her friend notices her change and separates from her.

Your girlfriend tells Andie that they notice the changes, but could do nothing about it. When she needs at the uneven bars during a decisive competitive, she has a dizzy spell, slips off and injured. Your trainer brings her flowers to the hospital and stressed to the parents that he had always wanted only the best for them.

When her parents decide to move back home, Andie runs to the gym to train as normal. When she comes back to Portland, she joins a support group. The last scene shows how Andie returns to her old gym and begins with simple exercises on the balance beam.
