Perhonjoki

The Perhonjoki (Finnish ) (Swedish Perho å) is a river in the Finnish Ostrobothnia and Central Ostrobothnia landscapes.

The river has its source in the east of the village Perho ridge Suomenselkä. From there it flows first west, then north-west. It flows through the lake Haapajärvi, then takes its largest tributary, the Halsuanjoki, and happened to Veteli and Kaustinen. Next effluent, it flows through the lake Isojärvi and reached finally, a few kilometers north of Kokkola, the Gulf of Bothnia. Its length is about 140 km, its catchment area covers 2524 km ².
