Features

Butterfly

The wingspan of the butterfly is 19 to 21 millimeters on average. The ground color of the forewings varies from white gray to light gray to green to gray. Geographical distribution and occurrence

Way of life

The moths fly in one generation during the months of May to August, sometimes during the day and suck in moist places. At night they visit and artificial light sources. Perizoma incultaria comes in Germany in the Bavarian Alps area as numerous before and there is no risk. A senior note for an occurrence in Baden- Württemberg is certainly due to a confusion or a misidentification.
