Perses (brother of Aeetes)

Perses (Greek Πέρσης ) In Greek mythology, a son of Helios and Perse or Perseis.

Perses was the brother of Aeetes, king of Colchis, and of Circe and Pasiphae. After the withdrawal of the Argonauts from Colchis he deposed his royal brother to even take the rule can. According to Hyginus Mythographus he received an oracle warning that a descendant of Aeetes going to kill him.
