Peru women's national football team

The Peruvian national football team represents Peru women in international women's football. The national reports to the Football Association of Peru and is coached by Jaime Duarte. The selection took four of the previously transmitted CONMEBOL South American Championships in part, the third place was the biggest success in their first attempt in 1998. At a World Cup or the Olympics, the selection of Peru has not yet participated. After failing to qualify for the 2007 World Cup was followed by a nearly three-year international break before in November of 2009 four matches have been played. The last victory lies back five years ( 2-1 against Bolivia on 15 November 2006). Except against Panama Peru so far only played against South American teams.
