Perucho Figueredo

Pedro Figueredo ( born February 18, 1819 in Bayamo; † August 18, 1870 in Oriente ) was a Cuban lawyer, who composed the Cuban national anthem " La Bayamesa ".

After Pedro Figueredo who composed the melody in 1867, he created in 1868 the text of the national anthem, when rebel troops which he belonged, took the city of Bayamo.
