Peruvian Airlines

Peruvian Airlines is a Peruvian regional airline based in Lima and based on the Jorge Chávez International Airport.

History

Peruvian Airlines was founded in 2007, but the licensing was not until two years later. Since then, it offers flights to various domestic destinations. As the airline started operations in 2009 their, their were only four aircraft, since the fleet grew steadily.

In August 2011, the Company was a flight ban of first 90 days imposed due to massive security concerns in order to remedy deficiencies. This was preceded by an emergency landing and an incident that fell off an engine without any further action in which parked on a machine.

On October 21, 2011 Peruvian received new licenses and operates since then their Boeing 737-300, while the Boeing 737-200 of society remain Earth-bound. In early 2012, the Boeing 737-200 were eventually put back into operation

Destinations

From its base in Lima Peruvian Airlines offers domestic flights after and between Arequipa, Cusco, Iquitos, Piura, Tacna and Tumbes.

As of July 2013, the fleet of aircraft consists of eight Peruvian Airlines with an average age of just 27.5 years:
