The Type 121N of the Polish manufacturer PESA a three-part, meterspuriger, consistently niederfluriger tram railcars of the Polish manufacturer PESA.

History

The meter-gauge tram operation of Elbląg ordered 2005 PESA six copies of the low-floor car 121N. Unlike his relatives 120N and 122N, it is because of the lower ridership when using operating only three parts (instead of five parts ). Between September and December 2006 was the delivery of the ordered car. For subsequent orders of this type it previously did not, so that said six pieces for Elbląg are the only representatives of this type.

Technology

The 121N is a three-part articulated railcar with a low-floor area of 100 percent. This feature only the sections 1 and 3 driven bogies. The section 2 is designed floating and based on the joints on the adjacent sections from. Four swing-out doors (one single door in section 1 and 3, two double doors in Section 2 ) guarantee quick boarding and alighting.

Like most contemporary trams also got the 121N panoramic windows with tinted windows. The design of the front section designed as a crash -absorbing element with its thermoformed front window and the " Evil Eye " headlights lends the 121N - family for rail vehicles unusually sleek appearance.

The passenger information system consists of internal speakers together for the recorder stops announcement of LED indicators front and side of the car as well as in video-controlled passenger compartment.
