Peseckendorf is a district of the town Oschersleben ( Bode) in the district of Borde in Saxony -Anhalt.
Geography
Peseckendorf lies between the cities Oschersleben ( Bode) and Wanzleben in the western part of the forest poor Magdeburg, whose on glacial Lößgrundlage extremely fertile black soil is farmed intensively since time immemorial. History

The coat of arms was approved on 20 August 1999 by the regional council of Magdeburg.
Blazon: " Argent, a rising red top, covered with a black grooved, pointed silver roofed tower, each with a door and window opening; accompanied up of two rising red maple leaves. "
The tinctures red and silver refer to the original belonging to the diocese of Halberstadt. The tower is the symbol of the village, which stands in the park of the former manor. The leaves symbolize this park, where many tree species, exotic, occur.

The nearest railway station is located in the neighboring village, 1.5 km away small Oschersleben ( hamlet of the town Oschersleben ) to the railway line Magdeburg - Halberstadt.
Attractions
The former Peseckendorfer Manor, built in 1906 by architect Paul Schultze -Naumburg in historicist style, after 1945 was initially a training center of the East German Trade Union Federation fdgb. After use as auxiliary boarding school (1969 to 1991) the welfare organization Saxony-Anhalt acquired the building and set up after extensive refurbishment a youth training center one. The complex has a landscape park with ponds and a 25 m high water tower from the 19th century.
Personalities
The German physician and botanist Johannes Thal died 1583 in Peseckendorf. In the 19th century writer and theologian Julius Dammann was for a time as pastor in Peseckendorf.
