Peter A. Rosazza

Peter Anthony Rosazza ( born February 13, 1935 in New Haven ) is a retired auxiliary bishop of Hartford.

Life

Peter Anthony Rosazza received on 29 June 1961, the ordained priest for the Archdiocese of Hartford.

Pope Paul VI. appointed him Auxiliary Bishop February 28, 1978 in Hartford and Titular Bishop of oppidum novelty. He received his episcopal consecration of the Archbishop of Hartford, John Francis Whealon, on 24 June of the same year; Co-consecrators were John Francis Hackett, Auxiliary Bishop of Hartford, and Ulises Aurelio Casiano Vargas, Bishop of Mayagüez.
