Peter Baldwin (director)

Peter Baldwin ( born December 19, 1931 in Winnetka, Illinois ) is an American actor and television director.


Baldwin worked for a short time as a photo model before 1952 an acting contract with Paramount received and was able to bring his youthful, handsome, athletic appearance in mostly positive roles of the 1950s to advantage, and simultaneously established as a reliable actor. Roberto Rossellini took it back in 1960 for Era notte in Roma in Italy, where he continued a modest but steady career until 1972.

From 1964, Baldwin was soon busy television director, who shot numerous episodes for some 100 series; from time to time he also worked as assistant for movies (like Vittorio De Sica's Woman Times Seven ) working.
