Peter Connelly

Peter Connelly ( born September 8, 1972 in England ) is a British composer of music for computer games and sound designer. Among his best known works include the music for three games of the Tomb Raider series of Core Design. He also worked for Ubisoft Reflections and Eutechnyx.

Connelly runs a music company for composition, music production, sound engineering and sound design called Universal Sound Design. He studied music technology at Newcastle College and cello, guitar and piano can play. As a composer who influenced his compositional style, he calls John Williams and Danny Elfman.

The soundtrack of the game Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness is the first game soundtrack, the Connelly composed in the style of classical orchestral music. He chose instruments such as oboe, English horn, harp and flute to represent the main character Lara Croft.
