Peter Gentzel ( born October 12, 1968 in Gothenburg, Sweden ) is a former Swedish handball goalkeeper.

Career

Between 2001 and 2009, played Gentzel at the HSG Nordhorn in the German handball league. For the 2009/2010 season Gentzel changed with a one-year contract to Kiel. ; then he ended his career as a player.

For the Swedish national team, he has played 224 inserts and helps them reach a large number of international successes. He belonged to the Swedish 28- he squad at the 2008 European Championships.

After his return to Sweden in 2010, he also worked on the preparation of the Handball World Championship for Men 2011 in his home country. Since Spring 2011 he has been chief administrative founded in 2010, association organization " Svensk Elithandboll ".
