Peter H. Gilmore

Peter Howard Gilmore is an American author, musician and since 2001 High Priest of the Church of Satan.

Life

Gilmore lived in his youth in New York City and went in 1980 after Hell's Kitchen. At age 13, he read the Satanic Bible of the founder of the Church of Satan, Anton Szandor LaVey and described the Church of Satan as " the motivating philosophical movement of his life ."

From 1989 he published jointly with his wife Peggy Nadramia sporadically until 2005 the satanic Journal The Black Flame ( "The Black Flame" ). In addition, Gilmore wrote a new introduction for LaVey's Satanic Bible and his satanic essay was published in the Encyclopedia of Religion and Nature.

He was appointed by Blanche Barton to the high priest of the church in 2001. Within the church, he is known as Magus Peter H. Gilmore, High Priest of the Church of Satan ( Magus Peter H. Gilmore, High Priest of the Church of Satan ).

As Repräsentator the Church of Satan Gilmore was interviewed on numerous television and radio broadcasts to Satanism, among other things, he appeared on The History Channel, BBC, Sci-Fi channel, Point of Inquiry, and Bob Larson.

Gilmore is also a musician and composer. As such, he contributed to several publications in intros the band Acheron, which has close ties to the Church of Satan.
