Peter in Magicland

Little Peter Moon ride is a German animated film directed by Wolfgang Urchs from the year 1990. It is based on the fairy tale Little Peter Moon drive from Gerdt of Bassewitz. The film was processed in 1992 with additional scenes to a five-part television series.

Action

The children Peter and Anneliese be visited by a violin -playing cockchafer named Mr. Sumsemann. He explains that the moon man has stolen one of his legs and guarded ever since. The kids decide to join him on his journey to the moon. After an adventurous journey through the Milky Way they finally defeat the moon man and may the Lord Sumsemann return his missing leg. They fly together back to Earth and land in her bedroom just before her mother comes to wake them up.

Synchronization

The dialog book authored Arne Elsholtz, who also took over the synchronous Director. Moreover, he himself spoke two roles in the film.

Music

The film music was composed by Klaus Doldinger based on the stage musical by Clemens Schmalstich that was already in the earlier film adaptation Peterchens trip to the moon by 1959 using.
